New Teardrop Star Discovered By Astronomers

Astronomers spotted something unique in the sky the other night. What is it? A star in the shape of a teardrop!

The stars technical name is "HD74423", but it is being referred to as the teardrop star. NASA says that it is roughly 1,500 light years away from Earth and is twice the mass of the sun!

Apparently, the star is pulsating on one side which gives it the shape of the teardrop.

Check it out in the video below.
