Maren Morris is in the final few months of her pregnancy with her first baby. While she recognizes change is inevitable through a pregnancy, the country singer is determined to keep on thing the same.
On Monday (January 20), Morris turned to Instagram for a "third trimester" update. The photo shared shows Morris proudly showing off her baby bump in a black crop top and leggings. "Take my jawline but don't take my crop tops," Morris writes with determination in the caption.
Morris' post captured attention from many fans who shared their love with the singer in the comments. However, at the same time, others weren't necessarily positive in their responses. Morris later addressed the negative comments on Twitter.
"People will comment on my photos 'we get it, you’re pregnant,'" she wrote. "I wanna be like, 'sorry, bozo but I’m not currently touring and I don’t have any f***ing hair vitamins or tummy tea to sell you. The only thing currently going on for me is my pregnancy!'"
Morris first revealed the news of her pregnancy in October. At the time she posted a photo of herself and her husband, Ryan Hurd, as they posted in a maternity shoot. "The irony is just too rich that after a year of living in the 'GIRL' headspace, the universe would give us a baby boy to even things out. See you in 2020, little one," Morris wrote at the time.
Throughout her pregnancy, Morris has kept fans up to date as she goes. She's showed off her baby bump at several concerts, on the red carpet at award shows and through social media. In November the "Girl" singer shared a video of her baby "waving" during a sonogram and most recently she opened up about the pregnancy hormones making her extra emotional.
Morris and Hurd's baby boy is expected to arrive in March or April.
