Delta Gives Employees Bonuses Worth Two Months Of Extra Pay

Last year was a very good year at Delta Air Lines and now their employees are enjoying the benefits. The company isn’t just thanking workers, it’s paying them $1.6-billion in profit-sharing bonuses.

Every eligible employee will be getting a check next month for 16.6% of their annual salary, which comes out to an extra two months pay. This is the sixth year in a row the company has paid out over a billion dollars to workers, but the payout for 2019 is a record high amount.

“Delta would be nothing without our 90,000 people,” Delta CEO Ed Bastain says. “They deserve all the credit.”
