Port St. Lucie Makes List Of Best Places In The US To Retire

While a lot of us have a long way to go before we can even think of retirement, that doesn’t stop us from dreaming about where we want to spend our later years. Well, there’s no doubt there are some places much better suited for retirees, so before you start planning the next phase in your life you may want to take note. 

“U.S. News & World Report” has just come out with their 2020 Best Places To Retire list, evaluating the country's 125 largest metropolitan areas based on how well they meet Americans' expectations for retirement, looking at things like housing affordability, healthcare and overall happiness.

And you know the joke about everyone’s grandparents moving to Florida? Well, it seems there’s good reason. Fort Myers, Florida tops the list as the best place to retire, with four areas in the Sunshine State making the Top Ten.
